Roommates accused of sexually molesting young boysPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX – A pair of Phoenix roommates are accused of committing sex acts against young boys and then posting photographs of the alleged incidents online.
FBI agents arrested Bradley Gietz and Jose Luis Juarez last week after an out-of-state investigation led them to Arizona.
According to investigators, Gietz admitted molesting a young relative in 2001. That little boy was just 5 years old at the time. Gietz, 44, also admitted he took pictures of the acts and posted them on the Internet, investigators said.
According to court paperwork, the victim’s mother identified the child, who is now 15, and the room of the Mesa home in which the pictures were taken.
Gietz is facing 34 counts, including molestation of a child, sexual exploitation of a minor, attempted molestation of a child and sexual conduct with a minor.
Juarez, 37, is Gietz’s current roommate. The two also work together at the McDonald’s near 19th and Northern avenues.
Detectives said a video allegedly showing Juarez molesting a different boy surfaced in the course of their investigation.
Juarez, who is not a legal resident, is charged with one count each of molestation of a child, sexual exploitation of a minor and attempted molestation of a child. He has denied the allegations.
Both Gietz and Juarez are being held without bail.
