Arizona lawmaker accused of pointing gun at reporterPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX, Ariz. -- There have been calls for the resignation, and possibly arrest of another Phoenix-area lawmaker, State Senator Lori Klein.
The Arizona Republic reported overnight that the freshman Republican from Anthem pointed her loaded, laser-sighted 380 Ruger at the chest of a reporter while showing it off in a lounge area of the state capitol.
The model has no safety, but Klein reportedly kept her finger off the trigger.
Under Arizona law pointing a gun at someone is considered aggravated assault.
