Pima County GOP moves to oust MillerPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- The chair of the Pima County Republican party has been stripped of his leadership role amid new controversy.
Members of the executive committee first moved to oust Brian Miller after his statements about a Pima County SWAT raid.
Now a statement put out by the party, says Miller contracted for thousands of dollars of spending without oversight or approval from the panel.
Local precinct committeemen will convene soon to vote on a bylaws change to remove Miller.
