Fourth of July Barbecue 101

There's nothing fancy about it when it comes to good grilling on this 4th of July holiday weekend.  Executive Chef Kenneth Arneson and Sous Chef Nate Brown from the Hole-in-the-Wall Restaurant teach Tess and Tyler the basics of a great tasting barbecue meal.

Dry Rub Seasoning

1/2cup chili powder
1/2 cup Kosher salt
1/4 granulated garlic
1/4 cup granulated onion
1/4 cup black pepper
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp dry mustard

Hole-in-the-Wall BBQ sauce

6 cups ketchup
1 tbsp liquid smoke
1/2 cup Molasses
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp Cayenne pepper
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tbsp granulated garlic or roasted garlic
1/2 tbsp granulated onion or sautéed onion

Combine all ingredients in blender and mix on low for one minute. Refrigerate before serving.
