Control of Arizona wildfires continues

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Monument Fire is now 92% contained at more than 30,500 acres.

Crews have a good perimeter set up around the fire and are putting out hot spots and removing debris.

There were four new spots where fire sprung up, but they put it out quickly.

And the historic wildfire burning now for one month in the White Mountains, almost fully contained Wednesday night at 93%.

The Wallow Fire has burned more than 538,000 acres.

The U.S. Forest Service says the fire has not grown in the last 24 hours.

Authorities believe a campfire started the massive blaze. They have two persons of interest but have not made any arrests.
