Man impersonates officer at ASU dorm

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Authorities are asking for the public's help after someone impersonated a police officer and searched an Arizona State University dorm room during the middle of the night.

A male entered an unlocked dorm room at approximately 3 a.m. on June 11. He contacted the female occupant and identified himself as a police officer in training then searched her room for drugs.

The suspect left without harming the female.

Police released photos from surveillance video in the area. The person in these photos may be involved in the case and ASU police are requesting the public's help in identifying him.
