Stabbing suspect photos released by police

PHOENIX – Police are looking for a man allegedly involved in a stabbing that left the victim in critical condition.

Officers responded to an abandoned house in the 300 block of North 17th Avenue on the afternoon of June 1 and found a man who had been stabbed multiple times and was suffering life-threatening injuries.

The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital where he remained in serious condition until he was released a short time ago.

Police interviewed the victim and he said he and the suspect were involved in an altercation prior to the stabbing. He provided enough information on the suspect that officers were able to obtain surveillance photos of the alleged suspect.

The photos show a Hispanic man in his 30s inside a Circle K near 17th Avenue and Van Buren Street near the stabbing scene.
