TUCSON, Ariz. -- Signs of life from the labor market in Arizona. The state's unemployment rate last month dipped to 9.1%, matching the national average.
May saw the addition of 2200 jobs statewide, making for the fourth straight month of gains.
Tucson's unemployment picture looked even better, dropping to 7.8% in May, down one-tenth of a percent from April and nearly a whole point from the year before.
