Chris Bachelier, UA Cooperative Extension, SCC, says the office in SCC has programs promoting the health benefits of an active lifestyle and physical activity.  She says the “Mix It Up “ program at Anza Gym emphasizes eating nutritional food.  She says while people are exercising on machines, she talks to them about food and the free nutrition classes available.  She says basketball players using the gym are told exercise won’t help you stay healthy if you’re eating the wrong things all day.
