Posted: Updated:

Hot Dog Skewers
1 package hot dogs
1 package hot dog buns
1/4 cup ketchup
1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
1 Tbsp. golden brown sugar

Instructions
Soak skewers at least 20 minutes before grilling.

1. Heat a grill to medium-high heat. Cut hot dogs into bite-sized lengths, about 1 inch. Cut buns into 1 inch pieces. Skewer the hot dog, then a piece of bun, then hot dog. Repeat using all the hot dogs and buns.

2. In small bowl, combine ketchup, mustard and brown sugar. Whisk to combine well. Set aside. (Sauce can be gently heated if desired, under adult supervision).

3. Place hot dog skewers on grill and heat, turning frequently, to prevent the buns from burning before the hot dog is done.

Remove from heat, place on a platter and serve with the sauce.

Fruit Skewers
1 pineapple, cut into large chunks
1 lb. strawberries, hulled
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1 Tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Pinch of kosher salt

Instructions
Soak skewers at least 20 minutes before grilling.

1. Skewer fruit, interchanging the pineapple and the strawberries.

2. In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, honey, cinnamon and salt. Whisk well to combine.

3. Grill fruit, turning frequently, until the fruit is slightly caramelized. Remove from heat, place on a platter and serve with the yogurt dipping sauce.
