Inside one of the Valleys best places to work!Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- They have a basketball hoop in their office. They have a cubicle where they play Foosball games. And when there aren’t big meetings being held in their conference rooms, employees are able to just “chillax” and watch some 3TV, or whatever else is on.
Welcome to E.B. Lane, a Phoenix-based ad agency.
E.B. Lane was named one of the "Best Places to Work" in the Valley, according to the Phoenix Business Journal. The agency was nominated by its employees. The contest was based 100-percent on employee survey results.
E.B. Lane was honored in the small companies category, which includes nominees with 55 to 99 employees. The company was featured in the Dec. 3 edition of the Phoenix Business Journal.
"It is rewarding to receive recognition as one of the 'Best Places to Work,' said Beau Lane, CEO (aka the “Big Queso”) of E.B. Lane. “We are fortunate to have such hard-working and talented employees making a difference in our company and for our clients. This award acknowledges the motivating and enjoyable atmosphere we all work hard to create.”
The agency is so pleased with the recognition that there is an “Everybody Loves Working Here” banner on the outside of the building on the corner of Seventh Avenue and McDowell Road in Phoenix. It’s hard to miss.
E.B Lane has been around for 50 years and is one of the Southwest’s largest full-service advertising, interactive, social marketing and public-relations agencies.
“We work hard, but we know when to relax and have fun,” said Jody Alexander, vice president of account services. “Working here is like waking up and coming home to work.”
Phoenix Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” list began in 2003 and is now tallying nominations for the 2011 list for “Best Places to Work”
