PEORIA, Ariz. – The Peoria Police Department released the names of the three people killed in a multi-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
The victims were identified as Charles John Cochrane, 39, of Mesa, Christopher Ian Stalker, 23, and his brother Ryan Patrick Stalker, 19, both of Peoria.
Police said Christopher Stalker was driving a Chevy S10 pickup at a high rate of speed when he ran a red light at the intersection of Northern and 107th avenues and collided with a Ford F250 driven by Cochrane.
Both trucks caught fire and collided with a Ford Mustang driven by Guy Kiniry, 53, of Surprise. He sustained non life-threatening injuries.
The other three men died at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation as officers try to determine more accurate speeds and other factors.
It could take a few months before toxicology results are complete.
