PHOENIX - Maricopa County sheriff's deputies conducted its 47th employer sanctions operation Friday morning at The Old Spaghetti Factory in downtown Phoenix.
The landmark restaurant just north of downtown is suspected of currently employing illegal immigrants, all using false identification, which is a class four felony.
According to Sheriff Joe Arpaio, three people were arrested on scene and four more suspects are still outstanding.
Information about the restaurant potentially hiring illegals was from a source who was once employed at the eatery.
Deputies ran a document search on a number of restaurant employees through Department of Security Records and found several discrepancies. They were then able to serve a search warrant on the restaurant.
