'Super 8' could be summer's biggest sleeper hitPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- It's a movie that doesn't really have any big stars in it and the title is a type of film that most kids today have no idea about, yet "Super 8" might just be the summer's biggest sleeper hit.
The movie is set in the '70s where a bunch of kids are having fun making their own home movie until they catch something very odd while filming.
It's the brain child of J.J. Abrams, the man who does the TV show "Fringe," and legendary director-turned-producer Steven Spielberg, both of whom started as kids directing their own home movies on 8- millimeter film.
Tara Hitchcock talks to Elle Fanning and the other child stars of the film, who are relative newcomers.
