Tucson man dies in head-on collision; Train accident; Missing Tucson woman

TUCSON, Ariz. -- A local man died Sunday when his car veered into on-coming traffic.  It happened around 8:00 Sunday morning on Country Club Road just north of Pima Street.

Police say 45-year-old David Williams slammed head on into a pickup truck. He died at the hospital.

The driver of the truck suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police say alcohol may have been a factor.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Some details have emerged on the fatal car vs. train accident.

It happened on the railroad tracks near Rita and Old Vail Roads. Police say 52-year-old Laurie Deibel drove her car on to the tracks after the crossing arms had been lowered.

Officers don't know why she didn't stop. 

Deibel was taken to University Medical Center where she later died.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Tucson police are asking for help locating a missing elderly woman.

They say 81-year-old Albertina Beltran was last seen Saturday afternoon walking from the Walmart on East Wetmore Road.

Beltran suffers from dementia and she's nearly blind.  She's about 5' tall and 150 pounds and frequents the area of South 6th Avenue and East 29th Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
