ANTHEM, Ariz. – An Anthem doctor faces additional counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after being arrested six months ago.

Dr. Lewis Underwood, a naturalistic doctor, was taken into custody in December by Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies on child molestation charges and has been behind bars since then.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio says detectives have concluded their forensic work on Lewis’ home computer and other evidence seized from his home when the doctor was arrested.

Arpaio says the MCSO Sex Crimes Unit discovered more than 88,000 photographs and 1,500 videos depicting child pornography.

“We are also very concerned at this point because there is a strong indication gleaned from the evidence that this Dr. Underwood may have victimized other children, so we are encouraging anyone with additional information to come forward,” Arpaio said.

Lewis has been charged with 11 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
