Police trying to ID bank robbery suspect

PHOENIX - Phoenix police are looking for the suspect in an early morning bank robbery.

Police were called to the Chase Bank at 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road Wednesday morning after a suspect entered the bank. He claimed to have an explosive.

The suspect demanded the teller give him cash and then fled the bank without anyone being injured.

No sign of an explosive has been found.

The outstanding suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 40s. He was wearing a black baseball cap with LA on the front.
