Warm-up starts todayPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- After a very mild Memorial Day, Arizona is in for a much warmer week ahead.
A ridge of high pressure is beginning to build over the Southwest. That ridge will help bring desert temperatures back into the upper 90s this afternoon and a couple degrees warmer tomorrow.
Another low pressure system swings by to our north Thursday, bringing a couple degrees of cooling.
Temperatures rebound into the triple digits for the weekend, although not more than two or three degrees above average for this time of year.
There is no rain in the forecast this week, although the start of monsoon season is only a few weeks away!
