PHOENIX -- Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer on the big kick-off is always the Indianapolis 500.

One car will be spinning around the track at a mere 110 mph or so, which is pretty good when you consider that it's entirely electric Indy car.

Scott Pasmore talked to Billy Roe, a two-time, Indy 500 starter, about his upcoming drive, which is part of Emerging Tech Day, a special event for the centennial Indy 500 event.
