Silent Witness offering reward in light rail robbery

PHOENIX - Silent Witness offering reward for information leading to arrest in armed robbery near the light rail.

Around 8 p.m. on Monday March 28, the victim exited the light rail at the 19th Avenue and Montebello Station and began walking to his car at the park and ride lot nearby.

The victim was confronted by two black males who said they were armed with a gun. They then stole the victim's wallet and credit cards and forced the victim to walk to a nearby bank and remove cash.

The suspects then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Suspect one is described as a black male, 17 to 20-years-old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 135 pounds with an Afro. There is a surveillance photo of suspect one taken at the bank ATM machine.

Suspect two is a black male, 17 to 20-years-old, 5 feet 8 inches and 135 pounds.
