Police looking for investigative homicide leadPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX - Phoenix police are trying to track down an investigative lead in what has turned into a homicide investigation.
On May 16, shortly before 8 p.m. police responded to 27th Drive and Highland Road to a hit and run accident.
Officer found Sarina, Marksberry, 52, lying in the intersection.
She was transported to the hospital where she died from her injuries on May 22.
An autopsy was performed and it was determined that Marksberry's injuries were not consistent with a collision, but was the victim of a homicide.
Investigators are looking for her boyfriend Robert Reiss, 41, to see what he knows about Marksberry's death. According to police, he is not a suspect at this time.
He drives a 1991, white GMC cargo van with Kentucky license plate 598 KVZ.
