Chuck Woolery has a mystery announcement

PHOENIX -- With an 11-year stint on "The Love Connection" (with his catchphrase "We'll be back in 2 and 2." He shared a funny story about that.) and tours on "Wheel of Fortune," "Scrabble" and many more, Chuck Woolery was one the first inductees into American TV Game Show Hall of Fame in Las Vegas in 2007.

Woolery is in the Valley today to make a big announcement at the locally-owned Zinburger restaurant at the Biltmore Fashion Park. Woolery stopped by 3TV to chat with Tara Hitchcock, Kaley O'Kelley and Scott Pasmore, but he was relatively mum on just what he would be announcing.

"We're having a little get-together and 1:30, and kicking off, I'm going to say it's a game across Arizona,"' he said. "I don't know anything about it. ... It involves money, fame, and a recipe, probably. I'm just guessing."

It's not a TV show, but rather an "event," Woolery said.

"I know this is just frustrating not being able to talk about it," he laughed as Hitchcock and O'Kelley ribbed him.

"That is the biggest tease we've ever had," Hitchcock said.

To find out what the event is all about, join Woolery will be at Zinburger at 1:30 p.m.

"They'll have a shot at -- something!" he said. "It's what I was told, which is -- nothing!"
