Wildfires troubling crews in Southern ArizonaPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arlene fire is burning two miles east of Parker Canyon lake where evacuations are in progress.
It's over 4,000 acres. Crews are using air tankers to fight it.
And in the Catalinas the Bigelow fire is between one quarter to half an acre large. It's burning on the back side of Mount Bigelow.
Multiple crews are working on it and they've already stopped the spread of the fire.
Meanwhile the two-week-old Horseshoe Two fire near Portal, close to the New Mexico border remains about 25% contained.
It's burned more than 40,000 acres so far and prompted evacuations in the small town of Paradise.
Those people got an update Monday on the effort to protect their homes.
