Glendale police seeking public's help in solving robbery, shooting

GLENDALE, Ariz. – Glendale police are asking for the public's help in locating two suspects involved in a robbery and shooting.

Just after 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Glendale officers responded to a robbery that happened just outside of a townhouse at Oregon and 60th avenues.

During the robbery one of the suspects shot a 21-year-old man.

The two suspects then stole the victim's maroon PT Cruiser that was parked on 60th Avenue.

The suspects drove the vehicle to an apartment complex at 49th Avenue and Thomas Road where they abandoned it about 15 minutes after the shooting.

The first suspect is described as a 17- to 19-year-old Hispanic male, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 135 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and cargo shorts and had earrings in both ears.

The second suspect is described as a skinny 17- to 19-year-old Hispanic male who was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
