PHOENIX - Phoenix police say a bicyclist was struck and killed near 7th Street and Hatcher Road Saturday evening.
Police say a man was riding a bicycle and crossed near the middle of the block when he was struck around 7 p.m.
After the car hit the victim, the car rolled on top of him causing fatal injuries.
According to police, the initial stages of the investigation indicate the bicyclist was not paying attention when he crossed in front of the car.
The driver is not believed to be at fault.
The victim's identity has not yet been released.
