Plan for a warm weekend aheadPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX – A dry, warm weekend is on tap for Arizona with temperatures running above normal for this time of year.
In the desert, that means we’ll see highs in the 90s generally. In the mountains, look for highs in the 70s and 80s.
A change will begin to take place on Sunday as a storm system approaches from the northwest.
We’ll see increased winds and slightly cooler temperatures to finish out the weekend and the below-normal temperatures into next week.
There will be a slight chance for precipitation in northern Arizona toward the end of next week. Other than that, expect rather typical May weather.
