TUCSON, Ariz. -- Volunteers from Home Depot spent Wednesday putting together numerous houses for Habitat for Humanity.

The group was out there two weeks ago doing the same thing.

Around 500 people showed up to help with the constructing the new homes.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- It was a field trip of sorts for some Amphi High Schoolers.

A group of students has been helping clean up the Balboa Heights Park near Grant and First Avenue for the last eight months as part of the Adopt-A-Park program.

Wednesday they were honored for their efforts.

"If we didnt clean up the park it would be all trash and all that other things," said Amphi High School student Samantha George.

This is the 248th clean up project for the Adopt-A-Park project.
