Warm-up starts today, back to the 90s by tomorrow

PHOENIX -- What started out as an unseasonably cook week will start warming up today.

We topped out in the 70s Tuesday, which is an usual occurrence approaching the middle of May. The average high for this time of year is 95 degrees.

Plan on a high of 85 today with sunny skies and calmer conditions. We'll be back in the 90s come Thursday and we'll stay there through the weekend.

Another dry storm will move through the state early next week. While it won't bring any rain, it will likely kick up the winds -- again -- and drop us back down to the 80s.
