MARICOPA, Ariz. -- A Maricopa man has been arrested for allegedly molesting two juveniles.

According to investigators, Dennis Raymond Forsythe, 62, was a friend of the victims’ family.

This goes back to April 16, when a counselor known to the young victims contacted the police.

While the victims do not live in Maricopa, the alleged abuse took place while they were staying with family friends who do. Detectives have not released the ages of the victims.

Maricopa police opened an investigation and discovered prior instances of abuse going back a year.

Detectives interviewed Forsythe in connection with the allegations. He was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Pinal County Jail on two counts of sexual abuse, one count of child molestation and one count of sexual assault.

No other information about Forsythe was immediately available.
