Gas prices continue to climbPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Much to the dismay of Valley drivers -- and drivers throughout the country -- gas prices continue to climb.
Little by little, prices are edging ever closer to the $5 per gallon predicted by John Hofmeister, the former president of Shell Oil.
"I see prices topping off not too much higher than they are now. At least for this year, but next year I think we could see prices topping $5 per gallon," he told 3TV's Jared Dillingham last week.
Bruce Haffner was there Tuesday morning as a West Valley gas station was changing the prices on its signs, increasing it by 5 cents per gallon of unleaded.
