Valley Christian's hot bats put them in the record books

PHOENIX - The Valley Christian baseball team is experiencing an offensive explosion this season.

Their bats have propelled them to the top of 2A and into the Arizona state baseball record books.

The Trojans are led by a sophomore-senior duo who might be the best one-two punch on any team in the state.

Not only do Ryan Cooper and Jeff Paschke hold the individual home run record, the Trojans demolished the team home run record in a season. They have blown by the old record of 29 and currently are at 49 on the year.

Jeff said he has his sights set on setting many state records before he graduates, but right now the focus turns to winning a state title.
