AHS Pet of the Week -- Lady Luck

PHOENIX -- Lady Luck got her name for a good reason because when this domestic long-hair arrived at the Arizona Humane Society not one hair was out of place. Quite a miracle considering this kitty was previously living as a stray.

Months have passed by since Lady Luck has had a place to call home, and her lonely heart hopes that soon she will indulge in the life of a pampered house cat. Being a mellow and laid-back 5-year-old, it doesn’t take much to make her happy. Just a cozy place to curl up and nap, an occasional chin scratch and the pleasure of having her long silky fur brushed every so often. Otherwise, this smoky gray cat is content to simply relax as much as possible and sprawl out on the couch all afternoon.

Although it isn’t often, Lady Luck likes to show off her playful and silly side and if a bug or lizard creeps into the house Lady Luck will hone in on it like a missile and ambush it with her velvet paw. She also likes toys that dangle from feather wands.

She will need plenty of time to adjust to both two and four-legged family members.

She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope Facility located at 9226 North 13th Avenue in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is just $20 since she is a member of the Lonely Hearts club. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful leash with an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam.
