MESA, Ariz. -- Police officers used a stun gun on a man who reportedly damaged a Mesa hotel Saturday afternoon.
Bryce F. Noe, 29, was registered at the Comfort Inn near Main Street and Horne when for unknown reasons he "went berserk" and started tearing fire extinguishers off the walls in the hallway and pulling up landscaping plants outside while ranting and raving indiscernibly, according to Sgt. Ed Wessing of the Mesa Police Department.
Officers arrived and said it sounded like Noe was breaking things inside his hotel room. Wessing said Noe resisted arrest and the officers subdued him with a stun gun.
Noe continued to resist and yell loudly while being taken into custody.
Wessing said Noe's blood pressure was extremely elevated and he was transported to Arizona Regional Medical Center.
