Vail schools honored by Arizona Education Foundation

VAIL, Ariz. -- Three schools, all in the Vail School District, were honored by the Arizona Education Foundation.

The three schools are Empire High School, Desert Sky Middle School and the Old Vail Middle School. The schools received an A-plus designation by the foundation.

"I think the thing that's most exciting about these awards is the impact that it's having on students, because it's teaching students that if you work really hard and do your best, that you find success," said Vail School Superintendent Calvin Baker.

This is nothing new for the school district.  Last year they also had three schools with the A-plus designation.
