Police arrest three in connection to stabbing in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Scottsdale police have arrested three suspects in connection to a stabbing on Wednesday afternoon.

Police learned that three suspects came to the victim's room at the Extended Stay Deluxe near 69th Street and Bell Road on Wednesday just after 3 p.m.

The suspects were identified as Issac Duran, 21, Katrina Dierx, 20, and Michael Mora, 20.

According to police, the suspects knew the victim and went to meet at the victim's motel room.

Duran got into a verbal altercation with the victim and then Mora entered into the room and stabbed the victim in the upper body.

The three suspects took heroin and money from the victim's room and fled the motel in an unknown direction.

The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and is in serious condition.

On Thursday morning Duran and Dierx were taken into custody at their Phoenix apartment.

Mora was arrested on Friday in the area of 44th Street and Indian School Road.

All three suspects face attempted first degree murder, armed robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, conspiracy and use of wire during drug transaction.
