SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The Scottsdale Police Department released surveillance photos of a suspect who allegedly took a Rolex watch from a jewelry store earlier this month.

The suspect entered Ben Bridge Jewelers at Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall on April 3 and asked to see an $86,000 watch. As the employee was handing it to him, the suspect grabbed the watch and ran out of the store.

He left in an unknown direction and no vehicle was seen.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was seen in the mall with an associate described as a black male with a possible goatee.

According to police, the Rolex is a Presidential Platinum Oyster watch with a diamond-encrusted bezel.

Anyone with information about the suspect or his associate is asked to call the Scottsdale Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
