CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Police said the Chandler 18-year-old who has been missing all weekend was found safe after she contacted detectives Tuesday morning and told them she is not in any danger.

Trinity Olsen-Galeai was last seen at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Friday.

She had missed scheduled appointments, which is not consistent with her normal behavior, the young woman's family told the Chandler Police Department.

Olsen-Galeai said she contacted the police because of the media coverage spawned by her disappearance.

Family members said they had talked to Olsen-Galeai. While she assured them she was fine, they did not believe she was telling the truth.

Detective Frank Mendoza said law enforcement verified Olsen-Galeai's assertion that she was unhurt and not in any kind of danger.

It's not known where Olsen-Galeai was all weekend.
