Attempted murder with an SUV in South TucsonPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- A woman is in critical condition after her boyfriend allegedly tried to run her over.
South Tucson police say on Friday night, 34-year-old Jeremy Carillo allegedly hit his girlfriend with an suv on 33rd Street near 3rd Avenue.
On Saturday officers found the woman with serious injuries, in a home near 35th Street and 4th Avenue.
Police say Carillo was trying to run his girlfriend over and after a failed attempt, he hit a fire hydrant then hit her.
Carrillo was booked into the Pima County jail and charged with attempted first degree murder.
