PEORIA, Ariz. -- Peoria police are seeking a person of interest who may have more information about a road-rage incident that left a 72-year-old man severely beaten.

George Ray suffered two brain bleeds after he was assaulted while stopped in traffic near Thunderbird Road and Boswell Boulevard on April 4.

Police said the suspect got out of a gray four-door vehicle driven by a woman and pulled Ray from his car while punching and kicking him.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old and approximately 6 feet tall. He was wearing tan shorts and a light shirt. He possibly had a light beard or goatee.

Police would like to speak to a man who placed a 911 call from a Circle K near Grand and 111th avenues in Youngtown. The caller reported the incident and asked about the welfare of the victim.

Police released a surveillance photo of the person of interest Wednesday afternoon.

Anyone who knows the identity or whereabouts of the caller is asked to call 623-773-7045 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
