PHOENIX -- Dancing dogs. Blindfolded tractor drivers. Cheddar covered worms. You can find all of this and more at the Maricopa County State Fair. The fun starts today and goes on through Sunday.

It's an event designed for the whole family, complete will all of your favorite fair food: tantalizing turkey legs, fantastic fry bread, incredible corn dogs, cherry covered, deep fried Twinkies, and a lot of other terrific treats.

“Leave your diets at home," advises Karen Searles, the fair's executive director. “At the Maricopa County Fair, all of the treats are calorie and carb free!”

There will be more than 40 carnival rides for all levels of thrill seekers -- one of the featured rides is actually from Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch -- and a vast array of fun houses from the extreme to the mild.

Themed "AgVenture Awaits Ewe," the Maricopa County Fair really does have something for everyone.

Admission is free today before 3 p.m., but for less than the price of a movie, you and your family can see hours of fun shows, view exhibits, watch livestock shows, test your knowledge in the Arizona Ag & Ewe exhibit and even visit with a few stars. If you're lucky, you can even meet SpongeBob SquarePants.

All of the fun is happening at the Arizona State Fairgrounds, 19th Avenue and McDowell Road.
