Body found in Phoenix alleyPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX – A Phoenix resident who was taking out his trash made a grisly discovery Tuesday morning – a body.
Police were called out to the neighborhood of 29th Avenue and Madison Street shortly before 7 a.m.
Few details were immediately available, but investigators said the body appeared to be that of a man in his 30s.
According to Sgt. Trent Crump of the Phoenix Police Department, the victim's body had minor signs of trauma, but that doesn't appear to be what killed him.
The medical examiner is attempting to determine the cause of death.
Information will be updated as it becomes available.
