Mother of Tucson girl injured in bouncy house talksPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- The mother of the girl hurt when a jumping castle she was in went airborne, spoke to the media Monday.
Witnesses say a dust devil swept the inflatable castle into the air, over a fence, and into traffic.
Two kids were inside, a boy and a girl.
They have serious injuries, but are expected to survive. The girl has a lot of broken bones and underwent surgery.
Her mom spoke through a translator.
"She has many broken bones in her face and shoulder and body. And until now they do nothing for her except schedule operation," said Nadya Malallah.
This isn't the first time this has happened.
In February, a bouncy house with two sisters inside was thrown across three properties and landed on a house. Both girls escaped with minor injuries.
