Labor rally in downtown TucsonPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- American workers gathered in downtown Tucson Monday for a "We are One" rally.
Tucsonans came together in solidarity with the people of Wisconsin and all working people defending attacks made on the middle class.
A march to Armory Park followed the rally and ended with a barbecue.
"We are here in solidarity with workers across the country and families its also in memory of Dr. King's assassination helping workers when he was killed in Memphis," said PALF Chair Linda Hatfield.
The rally was held in April to honor Doctor Martin Luther King Jr., who was killed 43-years-ago Monday.
