PHOENIX - A suspect in the murder of a man in March 2010 changed his plea to guilty to second degree murder.

On March 13, Phoenix police officers were called to the Pine Ridge Apartments near 45th Avenue and Thomas Road after a body was found lying beside a tipped-over shopping cart.

The victim was identified as Rodolpho Yurralde, 32, and it was determined he was killed and then stored at the apartment complex before being dumped in the common area.

Homicide detectives served search warrants on a residence at the apartment complex and a house near 79th and Indianola avenues where a suspect, Rudy Soriano, 26, was reported to be staying.

Evidence was recovered linking Soriano to the murder. He was arrested on April 16, 2010 without incident.

According to Phoenix police Yurralde died from multiple gunshot wounds.
