A Valley teen is shot for throwing up at a party.

PHOENIX -- A 15-year-old was shot four times, because he couldn't hold his liquor, according to witnesses.

It happened at The Desert Point Apartment complex off 64th Avenue and McDowell Road.

When police arrived around 5:30 a.m. they found the 15-year-old leaning up against the wall in the back parking lot.

He had been shot four times in the stomach.

Sgt. Robert Vasquez said it’s still early in the investigation to know exactly what led up to the shooting.

"We are waiting for a search warrant on the apartment. We are trying to track it back that way to see exactly what happened," he said.

Vasquez said there was a party Friday night with a bunch of teenagers.

"A couple of the people at the party may have gotten upset with the victim for some reason," he said. "And, we are being told he was dragged outside and shot."

Because it was a house party, there were a lot of witnesses. According to some of those witnesses, the 15-year-old committed a party foul while drinking it up. He got sick and two adults at the party decided the teenager deserved to be shot multiple times for his evening of over indulgence.

"We are being told that he was so intoxicated, that he may have thrown up in a child's room and they took issue with that,"Vasquez explained. "And, that's why it occurred."

Police are still looking for at least two suspects in this shooting.
