Chris Ciruli, Ciruli Brothers, LLC., says with its abundance of sunshine, precipitation and fertile soil plus a variety of growing regions, Mexico is an ideal place to grow a huge variety of fresh, high-quality fruits and vegetables. He says truckers from Mexico haul produce to over 100 Nogales-based warehouses, and U.S. trucks then come to these warehouses to pick up the produce for distribution to markets throughout the United States and Canada. He says Nogales is the gateway for 50% of all fresh fruits and vegetables shipped into the United States from Mexico.
