When you do it big as a college coach, March is when you get to cash in.
Memphis head coach and former Wildcat Josh Pastner doing just that, getting a new five-year contract worth $1.7 million per year and locking him up through the 2015-16 season.
Pastner says Memphis is one of the top five jobs in the country.
In his second season, the 33-year-old Pastner coached the tigers to 25 wins and a Conference U.S.A. championship, losing in the final seconds to Arizona in the NCAA tournament.
The future looks bright, this years roster includes eight freshman and four sophomores.
