TUCSON, Ariz. -- The decisions made, the dates set, over the next week, the State of Arizona plans to execute two death row inmates.
The first scheduled for Tuesday and Monday dozens of Tucsonans didn't hesitate to voice their disapproval.
Eric John King was sentenced to death after being convicted of two counts of first degree murder in 1989.
Tuesday, after 20 years on death row, his life ended by lethal injection.
The next Arizona execution will be April 5. Daniel Cook will be put to death for raping, torturing and strangling two men in Lake Havasu in 1987.
The Coalition of Arizonans to Abolish the Death Penalty plans to protest his execution next Monday at the El Con Mall at 7 A.M.
