TUCSON, Ariz. -- University of Arizona students and community members met Monday night to give their input about a proposal to increase in-state tuition fees.
The Arizona board of regents held a meeting on campus to discuss the fees which would increase 22% next year at the U of A.
Arizona residents would pay about $10,000. Out of state students would pay about $25,000.
The Arizona Daily Star reports the 22% increase in tuition would raise an estimated $22 million in extra revenue.
