UA students build memorial to Border Patrol agentsPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- The University of Arizona college republicans erected a memorial and tribute to Border Patrol agents that were killed in the line of duty.
The group was able to put up the memorial overnight. It has one hundred and 12 flags to honor the agents that have been killed.
"We did this in kind of an indirect response to the fence the mock border wall that was put up on the U of A its not so much that the U of A allowed it, but the college of social and behavioral sciences is actually sponsoring this thing," said Trey Terry of UA College Republicans.
The College Republicans plan to keep the memorial up as long as the mock border fence of the mall is up.
